Coze Notes
- “Shamesh” comes from a R’lyehian chant of praise that’s relatively well-known among Japanese fans of the Cthulhu Mythos:
“Hail Pharaoh of Darkness, Hail Nyarlathotep,
Cthulhu fhtagn, Nyarlathotep th’ga, shamesh shamesh,
Nyarlathotep th’ga, Cthulhu fhtagn!”
- It’s a little unclear where exactly it comes from, but best guess is one of the Call of Cthulhu RPG books (possibly “The Complete Masks of Nyarlathotep”).
